Ira Brown Delivers Keynote Presentation at PMI Conference In Philadelphia

Ira Brown, the founder and president of Project Widgets, delivered the keynote presentation at the PMI conference in Philadelphia on November 11, 2007. Brown demonstrated the many new features and benefits of Microsoft Project 2007, leading the attendees through a scenario which followed the life of a project from its initiation through closeout, focusing on the benefits of such new Project features as:
  • Using the multi-level undo feature to create "what-if" scenarios and correct project problems
  • Communicating the status of your project using 3-D Gantt bars and cell highlighting
  • Leveraging the graphical reporting capability of the new Visual Reports feature and improved Project Center views
  • Understanding the task logic in your project using the "Task Driver" feature
  • Controlling project costs using the new cost resource and budgeting features of Microsoft Project 2007
This presentation did not just focus on the tool, but emphasized the true business benefits and practical applications of the latest Microsoft Project suite of products.
