Ira Brown to be Featured Presenter at PMI Delaware Valley Chapter Tools Conference

Ira Brown, the founder and president of Project Widgets, will be a featured presenter at PMI Delaware Valley Chapter Tools Conference Seminar Day in Philadelphia on November 6, 2009.

This fun and informative one-day workshop entitled "Beyond Macros: Automating Microsoft Project for Non-Techies" will provide the attendee with an understanding and working knowledge of the automation capabilities of Microsoft Project. The session is geared toward the Microsoft Project business user, rather than a technical programmer, providing practical, real-world illustrations for solving the common business challenges a user faces when working with Microsoft Project.

Topics to be covered include:
  • Creating automated "batch" printing routines, including to-do lists for each resource
  • Calculating project metrics, such as the number of tasks that are behind schedule
  • Creating automation to help meet key deadlines by reducing the duration of critical tasks
