The Baselines Widget extends and enhances the Microsoft Project baseline functionality.
The Baselines Widget allows you to create your own description for each of Microsoft Project’s baseline fields so that their purpose can easily be related back to your process.
The reporting capability makes it easy to compare any two baselines, or any baseline and the current plan, using calculated variances and graphical indicators for each field type saved in a baseline (Start, Finish, Duration, Work and Cost).
The name, description, baseline save date, and name of the user who saved the baseline are stored in task fields. The baseline description can be changed to be specific to your project.
Project baseline information is retained at the project and task levels.
Save time by quickly comparing any two plans in dynamically created Gantt Chart or Task Usage views
Easily recognize variances between plans using dynamically calculated variances and graphical indicators.
The current plan (upper bars) is compared with the baseline (lower bars). The variance fields and graphical indicators reflect the differences between the two plans selected for the comparison.
